Fernando Said We Could Do It!
PE Fernando Calvo from Atlanta Peachtree Rotary suggested we have a blog of our own to share ideas and plans for the new Rotary year. I think Fernando's idea was a great one! Here is the initial post. I hope you will visit often and I trust this will be a helpful tool for all.

Roy, great job setting up this "Web Log" aka Blog site. This will help us all keep on the same page.
Well, here it is! We'll probably need a moderator or moderators.
I hope you will find this blog to be a useful tool as we prepare for our year of service together.
Let's get to know each other and discuss your ideas and challenges ahead.
Stay tuned for a post from PDG Bill Mulkey, our District Trainer. That alone will be worth the price of admission. Bill knows how to help us prepare.
Check back often. We'll see how this baby takes off.
On board... BTW, I go by the ID of cue ball (Larry Hart)
Great job. This is Tony Fritz from Fayetteville Rotary Club. My goal is to introduce our club to more technology next year, so this BLOG is wonderful.
This is great! I have been wishing for a way to brainstorm with others and this will be a great way.
I will be asking some questions soon.

I am impressed that so many have logged in. One of my goals is for the Barnesville Rotarians to learn how to log onto our web site.

We'll be adding content so please do check back often. Remember, it's your blog. Take it in the direction you like.
Thanks for the PETS registrations. Keep 'em coming!
I recommend creating a shortcut of the link and keeping it on your desktop. This way all you have to do is click on the shortcut and the District 6900 Blog will open.

For those that send their bulletins via email, I would like to be added to your list now if possible. maryligonetc@bellsouth.net.
I am also interested in learning about your weekly agenda. Not so much what the program is but what other things you incorporate into the weekly meeting - happy dollars, news, announcements, fines......
And last, (for now), I am interested in what your committee structure looks like. I wonder if other clubs have some committees and organization that we haven't thought of.
Thanks for sharing!
Mary
Great idea Roy, Jeff Bass (North Cobb)
Merry Christmas everyone!
OK, it's time I get aboard this train to see where it takes us.

I enjoyed meeting Roy last week at our Presidents recognition lunch in Fayetteville. As some of you know, my daughter passed away in Jan. from cancer at age 26. Roy asked if I wanted to take a years leave to mourn. I told him that children are still drinking dirty water all over the world, our community still needs our help. Now, in these stressful economic times rotarians are needed more then ever. Melissa would never want me to stop serving my community and Rotary. I am here more powerful than ever to serve my community and rotary. Thank you for the offer, anyway. Tony Fritz
